Installation

HowesComms can install SE SiteSearch customised to your requirements, tested and fully operational on your website. Installation can be carried out over the web, no physical access to the server is required. SE SiteSearch is also available for other web developers to install on their own client's websites.

The 'look and feel' of the search box and search results page can be styled to match the host website. A search box can added to any normal HTML web page, or multiple pages, as required. Searching is done by the website's own server and does not rely on a third party database.

Try It Out!

We have set up a demonstartion search facility for a simple 120 page local business directory. No real directory data is used here of course, but there is a set of keywords for each dummy page. Try searching on local business types: shop, food, pub, hotel etc. To see what happens with a large number of results, try searching on the words 'Banbury' or 'Oxfordshire', these occur frequently in the keywords.
